Taxes and Massachusetts Resale Certificate
If you are ordering from anywhere other than the state of Massachusetts, you will NOT be subject to any sales tax and therefore, we do not need a copy of your sales tax/resale certificate.
If you are ordering from the state of Massachusetts, a Massachusetts Resale Certificate is required for Massachusetts state sales tax exemption. If you do not have a Massachusetts Resale Certificate, you will be charged 6.25% sales tax on any order mailed to a Massachusetts address.
Care for your Swarovski Crystal Jewelry
To keep your jewelry looking sparkling and lustrous, please observe the following care guidelines:
Storing
Always store each piece of jewelry separately to avoid items being scratched, this particularly relevant to the simulated pearls. Travel with crystal jewelry pieces packed in their own protective pouches to minimize scratches.
What to Avoid
The jewelry may be damaged by direct contact with sprays such as hairsprays, perfumes, deodorants or detergents and salt water. Add jewelry last when dressing. Do not store crystal jewelry in areas of excessive heat or sun exposure.
When Not to Wear
Never wear jewelry in the bath, in bed or when exercising. This can cause unreasonable stress and wear and tear.
Cleaning
An occasional polishing with a soft cloth will help to maintain its original lustrous finish. If jewelry is very dirty, wash your jewelry from time to time using warm water, a mild detergent and a soft tooth brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water prior to drying with a clean cotton cloth. This only applies to jewelry set with only crystal. Do not, however, immerse pieces in water. Do not use sonic cleaners, boiling water or ammonia cleaners.
Cleaning Pearls
Do not wash the simulated pearls - these should just be buffed with a soft dry cloth
Care for your Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Filled Jewelry
Frequent cleaning is recommended to maintain its true beauty. Salt water, chlorine in swimming pools, soap and
perspiration take their toll on all fine jewelry. Wipe your jewelry carefully with a soft cloth to keep it clean and free
of these elements which oxidizes. The best way to clean in places that a polishing cloth will not reach is very
simple and you probably already have what you need in your kitchen. Take a small bowl that will hold about a
quart of water and line it with aluminum foil. Add hot water and a tablespoon of Tide washing powder (not liquid
or with bleach) and stir. Place your jewelry in the solution for about 1 minute and rinse with clean water and air
dry. This works great on Sterling Silver too and it will not hurt any stones. If you have a build-up of dirt in hard to
reach places, just put a little dish washing liquid in a bowl of water and soak over night.
